By accessing or using Savia ("the Platform"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you disagree with any part of these terms, you may not access the Platform.

These Terms apply to all users of the Platform, including individual learners, enterprise customers, and administrators.

2. Description of Service

Savia is a corporate training platform that provides:

  • Online courses and learning modules
  • Progress tracking and assessments
  • Certificates of completion
  • Analytics and reporting tools
  • Administrative features for enterprise customers

3. User Accounts

Account Registration

To access the Platform, you must create an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials
  • All activities that occur under your account
  • Notifying us immediately of any unauthorized access

Account Requirements

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. If you are accessing the Platform through an enterprise account, you must be authorized by your organization to do so.

4. Acceptable Use

You agree NOT to:

  • Share your account credentials with others
  • Access courses or content you are not authorized to view
  • Copy, distribute, or reproduce course content without permission
  • Use automated systems or bots to access the Platform
  • Attempt to bypass security measures or access restrictions
  • Upload malicious code or interfere with Platform operations
  • Misrepresent your identity or affiliation
  • Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose

5. Intellectual Property

Our Content

All course content, materials, software, and trademarks on the Platform are owned by Savia or our content licensors. This includes:

  • Course text, videos, images, and graphics
  • Assessments and interactive elements
  • Platform design and user interface
  • Logos and branding

Limited License

We grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to access and use the Platform and its content for your personal or internal business training purposes only. This license does not include the right to:

  • Resell or commercially exploit Platform content
  • Create derivative works from our content
  • Download or copy content except as explicitly permitted

6. Certificates

Upon successful completion of courses, you may receive certificates of completion. These certificates:

  • Represent completion of specified learning objectives
  • Are issued based on assessment scores and progress requirements
  • May be verified by employers or third parties through our platform
  • Should not be altered, forged, or misrepresented

7. Enterprise Accounts

For enterprise customers with organizational accounts:

  • Administrators may add, remove, or manage user accounts
  • Administrators may access learning analytics and progress reports
  • Usage is subject to your organization's license agreement
  • Individual users remain bound by these Terms

8. Payment and Subscriptions

For paid plans:

  • Fees are charged according to your selected plan
  • Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled
  • Refunds are handled according to our refund policy
  • We reserve the right to modify pricing with notice

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED "AS IS" WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EXPRESS OR IMPLIED. WE DO NOT WARRANT THAT:

  • The Platform will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Course content will meet your specific requirements
  • Completion of courses will result in specific career outcomes

10. Limitation of Liability

TO THE MAXIMUM EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, SAVIA SHALL NOT BE LIABLE FOR ANY INDIRECT, INCIDENTAL, SPECIAL, CONSEQUENTIAL, OR PUNITIVE DAMAGES ARISING FROM YOUR USE OF THE PLATFORM.

Our total liability for any claims arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Savia, its officers, directors, employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from:

  • Your use of the Platform
  • Your violation of these Terms
  • Your violation of any third-party rights

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your access to the Platform at any time for:

  • Violation of these Terms
  • Suspected fraudulent or illegal activity
  • Non-payment (for paid accounts)
  • At our sole discretion with reasonable notice

Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions that by their nature should survive termination will remain in effect.

13. Modifications to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify users of material changes via email or Platform notification. Continued use of the Platform after changes constitutes acceptance of the modified Terms.

14. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with applicable laws, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved through binding arbitration or in courts of competent jurisdiction.

15. Severability

If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
